No matter how great your construct is

  • No matter how great your construct is, you won't get really much in PoE if you poe market are too easy to kill. Therefore, you have to make sure that your character has lots of defense. That is not as true of the Arc Witch. Block is a good way to boost your defense, as it provides as much as a 75% chance to totally eliminate attacks and spells.

Good sources of Block are the Ascendancy Skill, Bone Offering, as well as other passive abilities and equipment. An important caveat of Block is that it doesn't mitigate damage over time or alternative secondary damaging outcomes.

A fantastic way to compensate for Block's inability to mitigate damage over time is poe skill tree conducting the Keystone, Mind over Matter. MoM is popular in a great deal of builds in 3.3, for good reason. MoM takes 30% of incoming damage from any source, and redirects it to the mana pool, rather. To put it differently, 30% of the life you would have lost, becomes lost mana. Provided that you can keep your mana pool topped off having adequate regeneration, then you will improve your sustainability substantially.

The Arc Witch isn't a passive construct. You have to be constantly on the go, and on your toes. You also have to have the ability to keep tabs on the timing of a lot of unique abilities, buffs, and other items. If you aren't on top of your cooldowns, you will not be getting the most out of the construct's rotation.
